Warren Township Girls Softball

Welcome to the home of the Warren Wave Wipeout.  This tournament fills up fast, so plan ahead and registration early to secure your spot. 

The Wipeout is played at an 11 field complex, 3 with lights, with plenty of amenities; bathrooms, concessions, large new playground, tennis courts, basketball courts, frisbie golf course and a skate park.  The tournament complex is close to Great America, Key Lime Cove Waterpark, the Gurnee Aquatic Center, Gurnee Mills Shopping Center and a variety of wonderful chain and local restaurants.

The 8th annual Warren Wave Wipeout Tournament dates have been set.  The tournament will be held Friday July 20th, Saturday July 21st and Sunday July 22nd at Warren Township Center Fields in Gurnee.  As always and weather permitting, we will have 5 games guaranteed. 

Pool/Seeding games will be all day Friday and Saturday morning with Bracket play beginning Saturday afternoon.  Friday night we will have the exciting and fun Home Run Derby contest under the lights. 

There are numerous hotels in the Gurnee area, many locations to shop including Gurnee Mills Mall and an abundance of chain and local restaurants to suit your taste.  We are close to Great America, Key Lime Cove and the Gurnee Aquatic Center.

We want to thank all of the teams that traveled near and far for attending our 2011 7th Annual Wipeout Tournament.  We weathered rain, lightening and thunderstorms on a daily basis.  But with determination and perseverance from all teams and the Warren Township Maintenance Field Crews, we were able to complete enough games to make Sundays Bracket play a huge success.  Great job everyone!  But let's not forget the many volunteers that made this event possible.  We give special thanks to our Wave Families.  Without your intense dedication and volunteerism, this event would not be possible! 

We hope everyone enjoyed themselves and we look forward to seeing you next year for another Warren Wave Wipeout Tournament.
