Registration for the 2024 Rec Softball season is closed.

Team rosters and schedules have been sent to parents and coaches. Practice and game schedules will be set by Sunday, April 7.

• Instructional (1st & 2nd grade) - FULL (we will have 2 teams)
• Lower (3rd & 4th grade) - FULL  (we will have 2 teams)
• Middle (5th & 6th grade) - FULL (we will have 1 team)
• Upper (7th thru 12th grade) - FULL  (we will have 3 teams)

Program-wide information

• All teams will practice at least 1 time per week
• Outdoor practices will start early to mid-April, weather permitting
• Games will start the week of May 13, weather permitting
• Upper division teams will start playing in late May, once the high school softball season is over
• All levels may play games against teams from neighboring communities (Mundelein, Libertyville, Vernon, Hills, Lake Forest)

Instructional Division

• Focus on skill development - throwing, catching, fielding, hitting
• Coach pitch
• 12-14 games scheduled
• Friend and coach requests will be considered wherever possible when forming teams, but are not guaranteed
• Rosters will consist of 10-12 players
• Games and practice primarily on Tuesdays & Saturdays 
• Season ends around June 30
• Program fee:  $130
• Ages:  7 & 8 year-olds (currently enrolled in 1st or 2nd grade)

LOWER Division

• Focus on skill development - throwing, catching, fielding, hitting
• Player pitch, coach pitch if walked
• 14-16 games scheduled
• Friend and coach requests will be considered wherever possible when forming teams, but are not guaranteed
• Rosters will consist of 10-12 players
• Games and practice primarily on Wednesdays & Saturdays 
• Season ends around June 30
• Program fee:  $220*
• Ages:  9 & 10 year-olds (currently enrolled in 3rd or 4th grade)

MIDDLE Division

• Player pitch
• 14-16 games scheduled
• Friend and coach requests will be considered wherever possible when forming teams, but are not guaranteed
• Rosters will consist of 11-13 players
• Games and practice primarily on Thursdays & Saturdays/Sundays 
• Season ends around June 30
• Program fee:  $220*
• Ages:  11 & 12 year-olds (currently enrolled in 5th or 6th grade)

UPPER Division

• Player pitch
• 14-16 games scheduled
• Friend and coach requests will be considered wherever possible when forming teams, but are not guaranteed
• Rosters will consist of 11-13 players
• Games and practice primarily on Thursdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays 
• Season ends mid-July
• Program fee:  $240*
• Ages:  13-17 year-olds (currently enrolled in 7th - 12th grade)

*There is a $25 discount if registration is completed by January 31

Refund Policy

We always need coaches! Please volunteer this season.  Also, note all board members and coaches are volunteering their time to make this a great experience for your child every season.
